dc.description.abstractThe main point made in this article concerns one of the most acute issues of the contemporary linguistics: the possibility of using synonyms in the content of the legal discourse without confusing the true meaning of particular legal terms. It is stated that synonymy is a common feature of a legal discourse; the examples analyzed show that it is an effective means which not only leads to the understanding of Law but also helps to distinguish between its multiple and complicated aspects.ru_RU
